    TAA...Gomez looks good at lower level but think that's it from the older guys in that Lot.

    Still not convinced with Ellie...and of course we still have the young lad to get his pass.

    Worst thing that happened was the reconstruct of the younger European league....we played some good teams during that.

    Elijgh (sp) reminds me of Pacheco, Suso and Ibe when they first got in and around the first team. Looked great initially but then looked a bit flat there after. Still very early days though, hopefully he takes a better route under Klopp than the others did under predecessors

    TAA. Looks really good in my opinion. Id Clyne got injured id have no issue putting him in at RB this year for few games.

    AND fifa have approved the world cup going to 48 teams.

    International tournaments have been getting worse and worse recently. Both Uefa and Fifa have increased the number of teams so i can look forward to even more pointless boring matches proving that all they are about is more views and more money yet again.

    Not great. Heard they were talking about 3 teams in each group so 16 groups would be. Id imagine they'd say top 2 for a knock out of 32 then last 16 before Qf etc.

    If they juat did top spot spot goes through to last 16 think would actually be quite good, force teams to try win a game but top 2 is going to be boring, especially with a lot more lower ranked teams in. Might get the odd upset but prob end up with teams drawing twice and going through to knockouts.

    These days it's not worth looking at the CL until the 2nd leg of the last 8

    At least the world cup has the advantage that there ends up being football on almost constantly so there's likely a game worth seeing

    True, but you can't always tell in advance which are the best games so you can end up watching rubbish for hours a day waiting for a good 'un to come along.

    TBF, the plan is for more games (80) over the same period as before (32days)

    Pros: Should result in less meaningless group games and few more minnows in the KO round with the chance of an upset.
    Con: could be some Cricket scores in the round of 32.

    As for England we will still get 3 games as surely we can't be so ****e as to finish bottom of one these groups! #no jinx
