It's pretty strange that after starting 2 games they decided they don't want him. But I did read that he had been arrested since arriving in England on suspicion of assault, may have a bit of an attitude problem.
My understanding was the loan was cut short, maybe Everton fans who really don't like him just twisted it.
I read somewhere that Marco has a habit of picking players up that, for whatever reason, have failed elsewhere. Personally I'm fully prepared to back him if he thinks these two are worth giving a go to.
Must admit to having serious doubts as to whether Niasse is good enough, but I don't really have too many doubts that Dio isn't good enough- I guess that makes me willing to see us gamble, especially given we're not going to be spending anything like big bucks.
The Allams aren't going to spend big, realistically we carnt afford a pl proven goalscorer so unfortunately whoever we sign is a punt. At least he knows what the pl is about and he doesnt need time to adjust to England as he's already here. Its a loan deal so if he's crap he'll go back and if he's good i assume we have the option to sign him (providing we stay up) As always it's a punt but beggars carnt be choosers
That may be the case, but looking at Marco and his mean looking gang can't see them putting up with any interfering nonsense or **** from Wee Willie, so, as LBIA said if Marco thinks they are worth giving these two a go, give him benefit of the doubt. As others have said, we are not throwing megga money at them, he may well be able to get a tune out of them, beggars can't be choosers!
Highly unlikely that any time in the bottom half of the division is going to loan us a striker! We might be daft enough to do it in reverse but can't see Middlesbrough being so benevolent.
Saying it smells like ehab is clearly not me being sure. Merely pointing out we were linked heavily last window which was clearly pre-Silva. Not sure what was harsh.
Again that's all fine if silva is actually involved, I suspect he will be told he's getting niasse. A lot of clubs work this way. It's not really a free hit as such because he's using one of our loan spots that could be put to better use
It wasn't cut short, he was injured for a lot of his time there and didn't actually start a single game for them.
