Can the mods remove this idiot from the thread too, he obviously has no intention of adding anything of interest or anything relevant to the thread.

He continues to derail every thread he posts on.

Yes, he is occasionally slightly amusing, but nowhere near as often as he's an unacceptably vile, foul-mouthed keyboard warrior.
While some on here may well agree with your last sentence, it's distressing that you (or anyone else) could attach any credence to your first sentence above. As a two-time cancer survivor, and grandfather to six young kids, I find your claim to be a long way from being remotely funny.
I vaguely remember SCB trying to pull that one, once before. He's well known for pulling out other people's posts from his vast archives (!!!), then either modifying them or grossly distorting/twisting what was written (or was obviously intended to be written).

The first sentence was about Patty, not you. <doh>

Can't you just **** off? You're a sad, pathetic, boring & whining old ****. You have nothing of interest to add, either City related, or not.

You're post above & everything else you post is bullshit.

Now, for the final time here's the two ****s I don't give about anything you have to say.

    Zzzzzzzz

Indeed, but if you read it a little more carefully, SCB is clearly implying that I agree with whatever Patty allegedly said (or maybe SCB's twisted version of something Patty said). <doh>

    Your ...
Thank God you're going, at last. Long overdue. The average quality of the posts on this board will skyrocket as the commonness quotient takes a nosedive. You can't fix common.

Just watched motd, the clip was edited with camera zoomed right in throughout so no shots of the empty stands at all.

Just to prove my point, highlight an autocorrect. Well done, boring, tedious, repetitive but well done all the same.

Anything to add regarding the boycott or are you merely interested in disrupting yet another thread with your half baked accusations, self importance, ignorance & idiocy?

This is a thread about today's boycott, if you have nothing to say about the boycott, then don't say anything. Ta.

Also didn't say much about why the protest was taking place very poor motd . At least some of the red tops have picked up on it and reporting it .

I agree with any display of disapproval of the Evil Nile Paddlers, as noted at greater length elsewhere. You'll find it in your vast archives, if you look hard enough. Don't bother trying to twist that to make it appear that I think you 'look hard'. I don't. You don't. You just come across as common.
And stop disrupting threads with your self-importance, ignorance & idiocy. Those traits can't be fixed, either.

I think the boycott worked well today, it was well observed & has captured the attention of national media outlets. Any thoughts?

When you pay for the rights to a cup with a distinguished history, you don't sully the reputation by dwelling on the plight of one club.

The papers can have their say but the Beeb is just doing its bit to keep the Cup special.

Editorial decision and I can see why they did it.

I think the boycott worked well today, it was well observed & has captured the attention of national media outlets. I could easily tell that from 4,000 miles away, even when it wasn't on telly here. The BBC text commentary was gripping; I read it several times to get the full effect.
It's very cold here (0 F), with quite a lot of snow.
What did you have for your tea? A potpourri of different types of gin? My paternal grandma liked gin. On the rocks, without tonic. She didn't like a Boddington's shandy, though. She'd be 136 now, if she hadn't died 60 years ago. She was a ginger, though rather bald towards the end. I cried on the toilet when she died, She used to take me to her brother's hotel -- Uncle Stan in the Isle of Man -- and got me to read matchboxes to salmon-pink people on the beach. There are some difficult words on a matchbox, and I didn't like to do it. I was only sixteen at the time, and used to secretly use me dad's razor.
