Good points mate but supposedly Kaboul went for family reasons and I think 'Dick' just didn't have the gonads for the fight. He also had Defoe playing virtually left back at the time because he didn't think Defoe could play as a single striker. I do get the crying thing though and it's difficult to differentiate between the crocodile tears we sometimes see. I think at the age of 34 there will be a maturity about his decision. It's not one he will decide over a few beers obviously.....I hope one question is in his mind when he thinks this over. Where were West Ham when he was stuck in Toronto?
I read somewhere that it's in his contract that he's not allowed to ask for a transfer, probably bollocks but here's hoping it doesn't come to that.
Saw an interview this week saying the price on Berahino would be about 20M in this window. He has youth, goals in his locker, AND...a seat on the bench, presently. Pulis hasn't ****ed around with the yung'un, his tough love may have done him some good, tbh. Moral of the story...keep JD at all costs.
Yeah keep him if you can of course that'd be the best case scenario. Can't see WBA getting £20m for Berahino I think his contract is up in a few months.
Just tell them to do one, end of drama. Saying 'how much?' Is just a way I unsettling the player as if we say even 30m, it insinuates we will sell him for the right price. If we sell him we are down for sure. Berahino is not in the same league as a goal scorer. We can look at potential in the summer!
He hates WBA he'd do well at another club and at £10m would represent a good deal in my view. Just depends if he's got many other offers, he'll probably leave for nothing in the summer to the highest bidder.
The reason he will NOT leave will be because of his No.1 fan Bradley!!! I just cannot see him going!!!
West Ham appear to have turned their attention to the Brentford striker now anyway. £10m bid rejected.
