Any points you don't get are points dropped regardless of the end position, there are 3 points at stake for every game so if you get 1 you have dropped 2

 

I am taking the game in hand into account, I expect Chelsea to get at least a point therefore we have more chance aof pulling 5 back on you than you do of pulling 6 (probably 8) back on Chelsea.

 

I don't think so to be honest, they aren't your points by right. You have to earn every single point, you don't start the season with 114 points and then lose points every game you don't win.

If it was a team fighting relegation and they finished outside then they'd say they won enough points to stay up. If they went down they didn't win enough points.
