Saved by the offside flag. No doubt Forster would of had it. <cheers>

Decent cross from McQueen. Two decent full backs out there at least.

Happy with that first half. All I would say is that I've hardly heard Tadic's name mentioned, and not really heard much of Redmond either. Suggests that this game is absolutely there for the taking, if they can get involved. Or a chance to bring Long or Sims on.

That was actually a half decent chance for Redmond. Poor header.

We're moving the ball better than we usually do and Everton don't look too special. We can win this one.

Tadic looking a bit off. Not terrible, but the few times he was on the ball he gave away a few passes.

Decent first half. I like Stephens a lot, very good defence in a subtle way, sending his man wide a couple of times. If we can get the ball to Jay more, something will happen.

Okay, I turned it on. Much better so far. It feels like we suit being away - even if we haven't always got the results...

JRod showed some good skill. Redmond needs to learn to head it!

Solid first half, the body language of the players is interesting, especially Fraser, they look a lot more comfortable and less hurried than of late

Not done badly there at all. My god it makes a massive difference when we move the ball quickly. We do still have a tendency to dither and go sideways/backwards in midfield with it ending up back with Fraser. Not sure if that's the defensive philosophy or a lack of movement up top.

My favourite part of the half being the commentator saying "Lukaku is offside there. The question is, was Lennon in his own half there though".

No, that really isn't the question on an offside call from the player making the pass you berk.

Not playing too badly at all ... Forster looks more comfortable away from St Marys, and Stephens is looking comfortable, despite playing out of position, for his PL debut.

That'll be playing away from an anxiety riddled, negative crowd perhaps?

Less fans getting on their backs up there than there has been at St Marys ... probably glad to get away.

Good first half. A mistake here and there but other than that we looked ok.

Yeah he reminds me of Callum Chambers. Composed, intelligent, probably more suited to centre midfield. Playing well.

Players could be feeling a bit more relaxed away from home due to the growing discontent of the Saints supporters. I suppose especially with Forster, who has plenty of time to listen to the fans groans/jeers behind the goal when not much is happening.

Almost seems like Jay is improving with real gametime and his technical ability and confidence wasn't going to return on the same timetable as his rehabilitation... Who'da thunkkit? :p
