Surprised took you guys 87 minutes before trying to change something. Was clear after 60 mins of you guys having the ball and doing nothing with it it wasn't working. Didn't even try moving Sterling / KDB / Silva around to mix things up either.

Can see big changes in summer for you guys. Reckon only for the front 4, Fernandinho & Bravo are nailed on starters next season. Rest just don't seem to fit into Guardiola style

For all of citeh possession we still created the more dangerous chances. We need to release the ball first time because we will hurt teams

And that was our best win of the season. I said before we went into the everton game that we needed to grind out a couple for our confidence, and no matter what anyone says about that second half (and they did dominate) we didn't give them a ****ing sniff, the Silva run and shot notwithstanding. Thought Windy was ace, but shout out for Klavan - booked after six minutes but still a rock. When Matip returns I'd like to see Klavan partner him.

Thought Bobby was iffy to say the least. I know Studge has his haters, but I never see him mis-control and **** up simple passes as much as Geronimo. Harsh, but true.

Anyway, I said I'd be ecstatic with ten points from the four games ahead before we played the ****e. Please God, don't let us **** up against Sunderland. One last push on Monday, and you can have a holiday till the United game. Put the kids out against Argyle, Lucas captain if it's his last game. Really don't care if we get knocked out. Sunderland will be just as tired as us, and 12 points from those four games would be superb.

Only bad point - Unitard look to have 6th placed nailed on now. :embarrassed:

The so called big players for City went missing. Superb performance from us.

    The defensive display was class.

Which was it, did City go missing or did you put in a superb performance and class defensive display?

That's the big question, did we make them go missing or did they not step up? Bit of both maybe?

I would say a bit of both. I am amazed that Klopp changed his formation and limited your attacking potency against a weak defence, if Origi had started I really feel you could have got 2 or 3 goals.
That said, I am equally amazed Pep didn't bring Iheanacho and Navas (is Nolito injured?) on around the 70 min mark because at that point they could have gone on to win it.

It was obvious from the start Milner would have Sterling in his pocket all game. Pep also persisted with Yaya and Aguero who offered nothing.

Iheanacho on in the 89th minute was 89 minutes too late.

Stones (crap), Sterling (crap), Aguero (no match fitness) and Yaya (no fitness) meant they were 4 players down, 3 down including the ref.

We were poor to only win by one but TBF after 9 minutes we were thinking about the next game we play in a few hours from now.

You just scraped a win against Middlesbrough at home. Nobody wins four games on the bounce (as we hope to do when we play on Monday) without one or two grinders involved. Happy New Year Diego: here's hoping you can improve the wumming in 2017. <bubbly>
