I remember this hatrick particularly well as I happened to be on the touch line spectating that particular winters day. The first goal was a SNAP shot which flew into the roof of the net. The second strike was so fierce that it made the frosty air CRACKLE as it nearly bust the net. The final goal was a tremendous header from a quickly taken corner from which our "Little Johnnie", as he was known in those days, managed to POP up out of a melee of defenders and direct his header into the top corner of the net. Enough to say that Little Johnnie milked the applause from the adoring crowd. True story.
