    I heard we rejected it as we're only interested in a permanent deal. Could just keep loaning him out til his deal runs out.

    think that's the only way we'll get rid of him,wouldn't be surprised if he goes on loan before the window ends

    No we just don't need to register them. What benefit is there in registering Perch? Or Xisco?

    Whether you or me like it or not they will be registered, Ashley isn't going to spend money on wages just for them to sit around unless it will cost him more money e.g. Xisco. It will never happen!

    I can't believe we've had a five page argument over letting Routledge go. Squad depth is great to have but we can't just keep piling players on players. Pards clearly didn't fancy him (and in fairness he's now had 3(?) clubs to try to prove he's Premiership class) hence the loan move to QPR when we didn't even have a right winger, selling him for a fee was a good decision.

    The argument though isn't why register him it is why aren't we buying more players and the reason is because Ashley wont have someone sat around earning 40k/week for doing nowt.

    We all know he's carp and wont play but the issue is only paying for a 25 man squad and no-one else.

    This Gabriel Obertan signing is something of unexcitement to be perfectly honest. He isn't what I would look to, to take this club forward or even to clean the boots of the soon to be departing Joey Barton. Lets face it, he has been a total flop at Man Utd and has done nothing to show he is capable in the Premier League. This team is looking more like Clairfontain FC with every player coming and every player leaving one after the other. However, like any new NUFC recruit he will be given a chance to show us what he is made of with a clean slate and blank canvas....

    Clairefontaine FC would be brilliant though, have you seen the players they produce? Obertan hasnt had a real chance and Man U.

    SSN showed an interview with Obertan a little while ago. He sounded genuinely pleased to be with us and eager to gain a first team place and to play lots of games. But accepted that due to the quality of the squad he was going to have to play well to do that. Positive interview!

    Also a soundbite from Pardew. He said that they are still looking for another striker and are also ready to move in the market in the event that they lose any more players before the window closes. This seems to back the theory that we are looking for a striker but after that will only replace leaving players.
