Have only once seen a league fixture between City and Man City in Hull. It was almost 66 years ago at BP in Div 2 and ended 3-3. I believe Carter, Franklin, Bly and Revie played that day and Bert Trautmann was in goal for Man City. Today I think we will at least get a point in a low scoring contest.
I don't know whether it's too much booze yesterday, but I have a feeling that we will get a win today.
We need to play 2 up front and not show them any respect. Pressure the ball so they have no time on it and try to compress the areas of the pitch where they like to play, so it's congested. Oh, and keep 11 players on the pitch. Score draw or a narrow win - come on City.

If Guardiola plays that weird formation he used against Leicester, then indeed if we stay solid and attack them early on we could get a point or all three. Also as a crowd we must loudly sing and show who we are to the watching millions.
Whichever formation we play we need to take our chances .. since changing to 3-5-2 we've at least looked a threat .. but we really do need to see some Composure in front of goal .. I think we will concede so it's gonna take two goals at least to see a win .. shooting boots on today and you never know .. but let them dictate from early on and I can only see one outcome
Anyone remember the game at the kc where Silva ran the show? Was that when they had ten men too? One of the best, if not the best, performance I've seen from a player at the KC
Indeed it was. Myself and another poster on here informed some idiots in the pub afterwards who were whinging on that sometimes you just have to accept defeat and remember as fine an individual performance as you are likely to see, and think you were priviliged to see it.The way Silva ran things, drawing players in,making space and then using his pace to receive the ball back unmarked gave the impression 10 Man City had more players on the pitch than we had. One of the rare occasions I have applauded an opposition player. Last time before that was 1971. Talking to some Birmingham City fans who had come up for the Wednesday night game who said they were only here to see the Wonder Kid. We won but the stand out player was a 17 year old Trevor Francis, who, if memory serves right, only came on as a substitute.
Hull City AFC, Newcastle, Sunderland, Wolves and Liverpool all about to land! Girding my loins with Bombardier + Leffe Blonde mixed - bloody luvly! Hard game today, I expect to be beat, but as long as we battle ... UTT
If phelan ****s hiself and plays one uptop (diomande) who doesnt pressure man citys defenders than he wants sacking
