Depends what you want to say. For example:
"A draught of hot night air carried up a stench of drunkenness, and the goaty odor of massed animal bodies."
Could be appropriate at this time of year.
So could "His goatee was covered in beer foam."
    Hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

****s sake, I'm starting to feel like David Brent.

I thought Bob was my Gareth and Chazz my Finchy.

    I don't know who's who and what's what now.

I am not a regular poster but I take a lot of value from this forum and recognise the effort that goes in to keeping it vibrant (and funny). This has been a crap year despite promotion in that surreal atmosphere at Wembley. I saw and felt the indifference to winning that game because the background issues always meant being back in the prem would leave bigger issues to resolve and that has been the case and still is. And it was a crap year personally due to work stress which was resolved last week in an unexpected promotion to a more secure position. So all is well that ends well; and may that be the message for Hull City fans old and new globally and locally. Perhaps a more regular and recognised poster will start a thread on what you expect (not want) for the club in 2017 and we can measure the responses this time next year; but sod that for now and instead allow me to extend my best wishes to all of you who regularly post and the rest of us who value the site and club and hope that Christmas brings a new puppy to replace the barking **** filled mongrels of hate that run the pantomime at the moment. (We have a new black and white pointer pup born this week that we pick up in the first weeks of the year and I am sure a few home wins in a packed stadium will make up for the all the piss our wooden flooring is going to take but unfortunately suspect there is more chance of the little fella scoring the winner in the EFL final's last minute off his head). But anyway - 'tis Christmas and the support for this team will be as Christmas is - well intended, hard work and rewarding despite not always being easy. Very best wishes to you all and good health throughout. It is only football; but my god it matters so hang on in there City and we will see good times. I hope you all enjoy it.

Lovely post. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the festive season. We all need a break from all the nonsense ... on this board and throughout the world.

Merry xmas. A great post and really pleased that this year has ended well. I do suspect anyone but newcomers are basically battle weary. I have no idea about your age but do notice some passion and exuberance that only youth is able to bring, Can I suggest that you should start that thread. And maybe your pointer will point us in the right direction. I am surprised you have written such a lengthy post without mentioning the Allams?

Clothes, Liz Earle gentlemen's grooming collection, the gin collection, fancy balsamic dispenser, alcoholic hot chocolates, book on bartendering, Bruce Springsteen's autobiography, molten brown stuff and a chocolate orange.

Oh, and the look on the Missus's face when I gave her her main present. 34 years since we met and she's still my main present every single day.

And the joy of seeing how much in love my youngest is with a really decent young man. That'll do Pig, that'll do.

Me Dad won't be here for the second Christmas, my Mum for the 30th. And that's sad. But life and family go on. We'll raise a glass and smile.

Happy Christmas to all who post and lurk on here. May you enjoy a peaceful and fulfilling Christmas break.

    All the best from Ernie.
