No great loss to the premiership, my worry is that Sam will sort them out like he did us, and that's another club out of the relegation equation, which could be bad news for us come May.

Looks like Palace are safe. A dustbin would do a better job than the fraudster

Unfortunately he`ll probably be a good fit. Having said that I didn`t see us finishing above Palace anyway so not a big deal for me.

Allardyce to Palace seems a perfect fit with their current squad, an absolute no-brainer.

Pardew lasted a lot longer than I thought he would.

Like previously mentioned I wasn't calculating us to be above Palace by the end of the season. They have there go to man Benteke when the going gets tough towards the end of the season like Villa used to. To me Sunderland will need to bet above Hull, Swansea, Burnley and Boro.....there realistic targets. Sam going to Palace maybe....he will do a good job as he always does with teams at the bottom.

Wonder who they go for if Allardyce doesn't fancy it or vice versa.

This makes our game against Burnley tasty.

I think the game plan for the teams around us is where possible at least get a point away from home and target the three for when they come to the SOL. We just don't want a "Swansea" performance at Burnley. I just thought we were too negative there....we can certainly get something at Burnley if we try and assert ourselves on the game. At Swansea we just seemed to let the game go by and we seemed happy at 0 - 0.....then all of a sudden we were fire fighting. Not expecting too much from the Man Utd game and Liverpool so anything to us will be a big bonus.
