Romelu Lukaku's new Everton contract '99.9 per cent' done, says Mino Raiola http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-contract-99-9-per-cent-done-says-mino-raiola
a.k.a. "if you want to buy him in January gets your bids in sooner rather than later" Moshiri needs money to cover his pie in the sky stadium plans, and the architect will only accept free tickets to Goodison for so long
Well you'd never understand MITO. Whilst European countries have superior facilities in terms of stadium pitches that can absorb torrential rain, January is the best period to host these tournaments in Africa. The rain is ridiculous as most countries that can afford to host the tournaments are in West Africa and Southern Africa. You'd be left with waterlogged pitches and the likes. I have an issue when it's convenient for them during world cups but not AFCON.
One thing wanted to ask. When does the African league season run? Is it during same as ours so this disrupts them and they put season on hold? Or does it run during our summer so it has no effect but clubs are impacted by the WC?
Long may he play at goodison. He worked for 25mins then shut down v us. For 25mins they worked from the front and hurst us but once he stopped working they dropoed right off and we just had it easy so i get the january for a game if its raig that must. i recall a lions tour to SA that was utterly soaked however do you not accept that he's not played since 2015 for cameroon stating that g the new coach Hugo Broos "this year that nothing is organised properly'. that he's told them 3 times that he's not playing and they still put him in a provisional squad...
Liverpool are interested in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, 29, who is on loan at Italian side Torino. (Mirror)
Inevitable that the hacks would link us to him given the Karius situation. Also saw Balotelli linked back with a move to Premier League!
No, its not happening is it? Ive a feeling the press have no clue whos on the list for klopp at this point.
BIG NEWS: Liverpool are considering a move for Julian Draxler, the Germany international. #lfc (Paul Joyce) Klopp has identified Draxler, who is set to leave Wolfsburg, as a potential January target as he looks to boost his options. (Paul Joyce) PSG appear in pole position for Draxler but #LFC likely to test the water with Klopp having the deciding say moving for him. (Paul Joyce)
Certainly a better rumour than Zaha! Still think he'll probably go to PSG but what a signing he would be! Real statement of intent I feel.
Not that impressed by Draxler personally. Speedy and good dribbler. Decision making a bit iffy. Guess you get that with hoping players though so it can only be improved. Obviously hes a good player in the wally ox mould in that you can see the potential there but not quite a championship winning side (well not wally anymore hes old!)
I noticed that, however give him better options and that may improve. Sturridge is still a puzzle, we cannot plan with him as part of the team but he's still very effective when he is fit. I suppose it's all down to him, does he want to stay and play from the bench when fit or does he want to go and be fiorst choice when fit? I have the feeling he wants to stay but we need to have options for him being out injured.
23 year old who already around 30 caps for arguably the best International Team and has won a World Cup. His decision making can certainly improve with time, especially under Klopp.
