    He's off.

Never mind, 3-5-2 doesn't suit him anyway...

If he does go it might make Mason feel he's got a bigger part to play. Ever the optimist me...

Mason strikes me as huge confidence player. Not singling him out cos that would not be right as it's a team game, but the lad looks so out of sorts at the minute it's obviously taken its toll as he struggles to get to grips with a side who cannot stop losing. My theory is the lad had so much quality around him at Spurs he was able to be sold as unwanted potential as so far,it looks like Spuds have yet again pulled our pants down.

Losing any player for us in our position is terrible never mind 1 of our few goal threats, however Snodgrass has always frustrated me. He persistently loses the ball and tries to do to much, to the point where if we could put money in to replacing him i would have said it could benefit us as a team, sadly not though.

Maybe, I think Celtic are a little better than people give them credit for, just because they play in a **** league doesn't mean they have a **** team, there's a reason they're streets ahead.

Also, I seem to remember one Nick Barmby who must have taken a decent pay cut to play for some Second Division club. It does happen, but as Celtic have said they don't want him, it's also rans.

So this game against Lincoln Red Imps of Malta

    was it answer A) - a triumph?

    was it answer B) - a so-so result?

or was it answer C) - a humiliation?

Have a think and you may consult Wiki if you like...

    Take your time.

Agreed , his set pieces are real quality and he has that knack of popping up with a goal or two but like you say he loses the ball to easily for me and rarely goes past the full back.

Snoddy is a very good player & I don't want him to leave! BUT he is a bit of a badge kisser! He's done it at l##ds & Norwich in front of me on both occasions! And then even when he's contemplating leaving us, he's grabbing his badge on his shirt 2 weeks ago v palace! I just think it's the game as a whole really?

Calling it a 'humiliation' and their 'worst defeat ever', was rather over the top, it was mildly embarrassing, but they easily beat them in the return leg.

Losing 8-0 to Motherwell was a humiliation and probably their worst result.

Yeah, why are you clinging onto this? I just told you they beat Barcelona? Presumably when Real Madrid got knocked out the cup by a ****e third division team a few years back players were turning their noses up at them?

Or are you claiming that the standard of Celtic in Europe isn't very good either? But they beat Barcelona and drew with Man City, as well as beating several other pretty decent teams along the way.

I don't understand what your point is, other than Celtic once lost to a team from Gibraltar? Presumably you aren't aware of the time that APOEL Nicosia beat Lyon on pens to reach the quarter finals, or a few years back when Rubin Kazan beat Barcelona 2-1 at the Nou Camp?

Call me wrong if you want but losing Robertson or Maguire would be a much bigger blow in my eyes. In an ideal world, they'd be the future of Hull City.

Yeah letting our top goal scorer leave for (most likely) pittance is the right thing do.

I don't blame Snoddy if he goes, but us apparently targeting Monetro, as his replacement if he does leave, doesn't fill me with confidence. Sounds like what that dickhead Duffen did with Turner in 2009.
