I'm sure corned beef is officially bad for your health by now but it doesn't half taste nice in a sandwich with mustard and tomato.

Just found out I've won a hamper at golf so will share it with the family, 11 of us, on Christmas day at my youngest Daughter's house. I'll let everyone have their favourite items except the beer, which is for me.
Likewise had full bloods done recently and said all ok apart from anaemic. Told them I'd just donated blood the week before which they'd not noted down, so hopefully a few iron tablets will sort. Agree re. salt, but as never buy processed meals generally, find need salt on sandwiches and veg.
Remember get Corn beef Vienna rolls from Fletchers at junction of Jameson St/King Edward St with lashing of tomato ketchup and eating them sat round the fountain there. Helped me grow I'm sure.

Hard to believe today but, due to severe anaemia my wife was hospitalised days at a time during pregnancy in the 70's, she was given a bottle of Guinness every night as part of her treatment. Today's nanny generation would have a ducko.

Seen it 'tash - I think ''hope beyond the stars'' is a brilliantt motto, I think it works for all kinds of things. It was my old school motto but I chose it 'cos after supporting City for as long as we have we needed a bit of hope. I say a bit, I really meant loads ...
