To do, or see happen to that ****er who owns SAFC. Welcome to the Ellis Short Appreciation Society thread.
I'd like to bump into him, when he's having lunch at his London hang-out. The clue is in the name, it's called the 'Black and Blue', on Wigmore St.
I'd like to see us look professional off the pitch. On the pitch looks beyond us so I'd like to see the club run well.
. I guess you are not into the spirit of the thread. Get some beer inta ya, and start again after new year.
I don't wish the man any ill will at all, if it wasn't for him i reckon we'd have been a mid table Championship club a long time ago. He's made some howler **** ups with his appointments and money spending, but we're still in there fighting and i think the financial situation/realisation has now come to a head. For me there's two scenarios this season, neither of them very pretty. We'll struggle by with the squad we've got, cos we can't afford any incoming and at the end of the season luck will determine our fate. The squad is paper thin by EPL standards and no where near good enough to compete at anything other than a bottom 5 place. If we survive then Moyes will attempt to reduce the wage bill and build a team of youngsters as he did at Everton. Or we get relegated and Moyes will mirror what has happened to the scum, basically get rid off all of our assets and start all over which in turn will sort the wage bill out. A third option could be that Moyes walks cos he was lied to by Short and then god know's what will happen.
Long day. Didn't read the OP properly. Thought it said what would you like to happen to SAFC. Short... I'd like him to sell as soon as possible really. Failed experiment.
Nope, what a waste of a good steak. I'd punch him in the face. Or just rack up a massive tab, and get him to pay for it in return for charging safc a ridiculous rate of interest.
I would wish him a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. you never know, just might put him in a good mood, throw caution to the wind and sanction a couple of deals for Big Davie.
