Really looking forward to the game now. Hopefully we will have in a new striker by then, maybe we'll try Sami or Obertan up front.

The Arsenal boys will be looking forward to coming up to somewhere safe, to get away from the riots!

    What score?

2 -2, anything but a loss will do me. <cheers>

All things considering I'm surprisingly optimistic about this game, think it will be a close one, my early prediction was 1-1 and I'm gonna stick with that.

Hopefully Wilshere, Van Persie, Fabregas and Walcott will all still be out.

Draw would do nicely, hopefully we capitalise on their injuries and the new signings hit the ground running.

Pretty certain I'm gonna be shaking with excitement on Saturday, I was last season when we kicked off against Man Utd.

We are kicking off this season with a stronger lineup overall I would say.

What's the likely crowd to be? Won't be full will it, maybe 47,000 or thereabouts?

So, who's going and where are you sitting? My friend has the tickets, so I'm not sure exactly where. But they're supposed to be in the Gallowgate corner near the strawberry exit.

Should be a good crowd, first game back and Arsenal tickets are generally in demand.

Will be in the old East Stand, no Season Ticket now. Originally had one on the half-way line, just above where the press boys are now. Got kicked out, Save Our Seats campaign, up to Level 7, then got made redundant. Back in work now, but can only afford tickets as and when.

I dreamt we won. Only other time I dreamt a prediction was that we would lose to Derby 1-0 back when they dazzled the prem, and we did. So you might as well bet your house on us winning this weekend!

i'm going to go out on a limb and back us for all 3 points. 2 -1 Demba Ba picking up a goal on his full debut a powerful Saylor header from a Cabaye corner....an in-swinger. some no mark mockney to score for them.

Add to that Vermalen, Gibbs and Diaby

I'd be happy with a decent performance from us ending in a draw or a sneaky win. I think 1-1 looks a good bet, depends on which two teams turn out and if Gervinho remembers all the happy birthday messages we sent him.

Properly looking forward to this one! I'd be happy with a draw although as with Man U last season I think a loss with a good solid performance would still make me pleased.

Also got a new gf and she's coming to the pub to watch it with me (she's def a keeper!!)..... Not sure what she's let herself in for though <laugh>
