Ofcourse they're ****ing worried. The fact some (one in particular <whistle> ) can't bring themselves to mention us as a threat, while talking about a team 6 points below us, speaks volumes. I sense #fear Diego <whistle>

I used to know a little kid that thought "boom" was hilarious <ok> :emoticon-0100-smile

(he's 13 now and gets embarrassed when you remind him)

Utd have been guarantee flops since Fergie retired, now like us you only have "hope" instead of regular success.:emoticon-0105-wink:

TBF 3 years is too short of a time to guarantee anything, it's more of a "transition" (you should know that word by now), when it get's to double figure years then people can come to accept it as the norm :emoticon-0105-wink:

I remember when a current prem club captain at 17 years old paid to bang an elderly lady, I'm guessing he gets a lot more embarrassed about that than the 13 yea old does about previously liking the word "boom".

Utd are leaders in that category Diego, their first title drought lasted around 44 years and the 2nd 26 years.:)

    Oh?

So our current drought counts but Utd's 40 and 26 year droughts dont.

    Great logic Diego.<laugh>

They certainly do count, that is the way we were. The current 3 years is a bit too soon to compare to them though :emoticon-0100-smile

Probably not, but they've spent more in the last 3 years than Fergie did in his entire time at OT.

Seen clip of barcas 2nd goal tonight. The footwork from Messi to set it up, unreal. Beats 4 players in space of about 5 yards one after then other.

That is why to me, and all other football fans bar Portugal, Real Madrid & Man Utd fans who are blinded by bias, Messi will always be levels above Ronaldo as a footballer. Ronaldo will go down as one of the greatest due to his superb scoring record and accomplishments but Messi will go down as THE greatest, and rightly so.

Maradonna won a world cup single-handed. Messi is wonderful, but the only player close to the cheating little stumpy one is Pele.

Unfortunately for Maradona his performances over a 7 game tournament, however great, don't outweigh Messi's career of greatness in which he has consistently broken records for club and country.

They are very differently footballers so it's hard to compare. Ronaldo is a complete athlete, 6ft, big strong runner quick good in the air powerful. Messi is a little magician quick feet and can trick his way past someone in a telephone box!

Ronaldo couldn't do what Messi managed there, but Messi couldn't do some of the things Ronaldo does like rise and power home a header.

What i would say and it's probably why Messi will go down as the best, is there are other players who can do certain parts of Ronaldo a game that make him different to Messi. Carroll can do the heading that Ronaldo does and better... but no one can link up play and dribble past players in small spaces in the way Messi can and that's why I think he'll always go down as being the more special of the two.

Both incredible but watching Messi do that (and then follow up with good old fashioned toe punt <laugh>) you just applaud.
