I think we got through the Watford game ok which was great. Borini looks in good shape although he could have done with being subbed in the second half when he faded quite badly.

12 points this time last season.
Love a scruffy win. The London pundits hate them but it's what the game is all about, provided it's not every week. Shows your team has a bit of character

Much more effective through the middle, behind JD. With Borini right side and Vic left we look ok. Don't know what the other lads thought. He'll be out for Manure tho.

Yup he played very well in this position and I think we should employ him as an attacking midfielder rather than out wide. It was great to see a centre player who can go past a man and slip in Defoe. He also looked like he enjoyed his football again being involved constantly.

He was crap first half but made some lovely forward passes in the second one of which led to a goal and he actually put himself about a bit physically a couple of times which was good to see.

Overall very patchy but definitely showed some quality second half.

Khazri should be playing in that position though. That's where he played for Bordeaux and he is, after all, our player.

Sadly I can't see Khazri being our player come 31\1\17, think he'll be plying his trade back in France.

I hope we get some good cash for him if we do, it would be nice to afford at least 1 loan player in January!!!

That's what I'd do for sure but Moyes is for some reason blind to Khazri's ability isn't he. He left Borini, a player who's been out injured for ages and looked knackered, on for 90 minutes rather than give Khazri a run out. Dunno what's going on but in my mind we've already sold him.

I agree. I think he's gone. What annoys me is that at the end of last season we had the makings of a good team. One or two of the right additions and we could have pushed on. We completely failed to do that. I just don't understand why Moyes in brought in Januzaj when we already 4 players on the books who could fill the same role. That loan space could have been used to bring in a decent centre mid, especially when it became clear that M'Vila wasn't coming either in the short term or the long term.

I'll give moyes the benifit of the doubt
As he was only in post a short while.
Now even though we supposedly have very little money to spend in the next transfer window.
He should now know what we need and were we stand at the moment.
It's up to him to make sure this transfer window is successful.
    Money or not

It annoys me too mate I know we have a history of finding a way to shoot ourselves in the foot but I was certain that we had the basis to finally start a season well, turned out I couldn't be more wrong.

I'm amazed we're doing as well as we are given the resources and injuries so credit to Moyes for that, I don't know if he's getting the most out of them yet but it's close. He's having the same effect on individual players that Allardyce had.

Chelsea have 4 1-0's from last 6 games. Pundits no comment there ( not saying they were scruffy like)
