He manages like he played - sideways and backwards.
How he was appointed a Championship manager one can only guess.
He's had more to spend than any other City manager yet most occupy the bench.
It's Christmas yet not a clue of his best set up.
It will end in tears - Cheers Mr Lansdown.

Ps Thank goodness, and I did warn 2 months ago, that the bottom clubs keep losing.

I hate to say but I believe we could be in serious trouble if Lee continues at the helm because quite frankly I don't think he has clue. Lansdown has been the source of many of our problems and only when he comes to the realisation that you need an experienced manager to succeed in this division will we have any chance of redemption. For goodness sake don't let Lee loose in January with the cash that may be required to shore up the defences for the rest of this season because although we thought he had done a remarkable job through the summer look where it has taken us - nowhere. The knives are out and I wonder if our owner will even notice that it's time for proper action rather than the cheap fix. Is it any wonder that most with a footballing brain give us a wide berth when we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot over and over again?

I think the Steve Coppell affair should have been a forewarning of how Bristol City operate (still today) and I saw something in his body language during his first interview that told me felt he was being fed bullshit by management and of course we know the rest of the story. If you want a Ferrari then don't hire a 5 years old as your chauffeur. Get it?

Oh I really hope he turns this around. So many on here, OTIB, twitter etc waiting... no not waiting WANTING him to fail and it's ****ing pathetic. Yes let's just sack every manager when they go through a bad spell! It's worked so ****ing well in the past.

It's a balance - not to be too quick to judge - to give someone a chance to find their feet etc, whilst also recognising when enough is enough and it's time for a change.
I'm not after his head - yet, but that is not to say that I won't be in the future.
He knows recent results are unacceptable. His analysis of the games have been pretty spot on, so he is seeing the same stuff we are, he's just not managed to fix it yet. He's right imo when he says there isn't a lot wrong - it's just that the same bits are wrong every week and it's costing us points.

I must admit I'm in the group who want LJ to succeed, I aslo think recent results are unacceptable but I don't want him to be sacked, the question is how long are we prepared to wait before demanding action?

Couldn't make it yesterday but the by all accounts we should have buried that game in the first 20 mins.
I know I'm going on like a broken record, but I still think we are not far away.
Must be a nightmare for LJ, as he's putting a team out there that are creating chances and defenders that are not playing that badly, it just isn't happening.
I think a couple of additions in Jan (so long as it's the right ones) will turn the season around......Fingers crossed....I still have the faith....
By the way, the last thing that him and the team needs is a load of fickle fans on his back......we need to get behind him......all excluding RP, RR etc, all loving it and want him to fail, how Sad!

    Exactly how I feel.

You have to be fair, and we are in a very bad run of form at the moment. And it is concerning, yes. But every single manager, successful or not, has been through this, and if you sack people as soon as this happens, then you become QPR, or Leeds.

What really ****s me off is that if you put a realistic head on and look at it this way, you're dismissed as a happy clapper. You have people saying 'told you', when in reality, there is no way they could be prescient to this, seeing as LJ has such a short track record at the moment.

It's a bit bizarre, but we really could be 2 or 3 signings away from a very, very good team. Problem is, we're missing the players in key areas, resulting in this weird situation. Not to mention the fact that we have a ****load of very promising young players here too for once.

In my post enough is enough . I do not condone sacking Lee, but I think when you get in a rut you need a little help to get out of it, be it a temporary mentor or a move to the side.
1 for says panic...didn't take long! well I would say how long do you go on losing games before you open your eyes and say s**** I've run out of road...

How many more years do we have to be close to the finished article before someone notices that we have never reached that pinnacle? How many more years will we need to find a specific player for a certain position to finally get there? How many more years do we need to say let's give the chap more time to get his feet under the table? How many more years do we continue to pick an unacceptable manager before we finally hire one who knows what he is doing?

Many of the same questions beset us and we still have not come up with the right combination of answers, in fact we have never come up with the answers other than our successes in League One, and according to our owner that is not where we want to be. So answer some of the questions man.

Since I arrived here in Mexico I have had exactly 3 Coronitas in my heightened state of concern about Bristol City. That's a lot for me but our friend and her Argentinian husband arrive today after spending a week driving here from Vancouver Island so rest assured Hori and I will drink a few more and will report back once we have found the solution to all the footballing problems in the entire world, and believe me City's plight will be top of the list. Cheers EH.

The bold bit, well that's football. People seem to think simply improving your team will fix everything. Let's not forget that there's 23 other teams doing the exact same thing as us.

The questions after that, are irrelevant to the original sentiment.

Just trying to emphasise the multiple problems that we have created for ourselves again.
