I don't really know where this leads us (time on my hands) but here is a list of all home games for the season so far, very consistent, good solid support, never a full house but very even support through the season so far, considering our performances, I also note we have a good average figure but the last two games are showing lower trends. No room for complacency.. Almost certain to be. Last home game before Xmas and I also imagine that a lot of floating supporters will stay away given recent results.
the law of diminishing returns ..... pub has good beer .. but no heating ... Autumn and spring is busy ..... winter nearly empty pub has drinkable beer ...heating .... Autumn and Spring a few customers ...winter is packed
Winter along with fans who want to keep warm will lower attendances I'm sure, but consistent wins could offset those diminishing figures.
Those moaning about 16000 fans on a Tuesday our little neighbours down the road couldn't muster 8,000 on a Saturday.
It's very hot down here and City aren't doing that well so do I need any more excuses? It must sound like I'm a piss tank but really I rarely have an alcholic beverage and beer would be my last choice but I'm trying to give your day an extra smile angelic.
Sounds like you and me are opposites Mike! I love my beer and drink too much of it. I need to do something about it next year as I am getting a paunch - which I absolutely hate.
And it's much appreciated being stuck in work Mike. However, there are positives....my week of On Call (without being called) is over as are my late shifts. So this weekend it's beer beer beer all the way and then 3 part weeks of early shift (06.45 - 15.15) which I love with the little matter of Xmas in between. Happy Days
