It was a game pretty devoid of skill on both sides, but we deserved the win - just. According to 'Flash Scores' - Villa had one shot on target (must have been when I nodded off!!).
We certainly stopped the Villa revival and it was a very welcome win
More of the same on Friday please.

That is now 2 games that I have totally blanked out of my thoughts - net result?

    2 home wins
    goals for 6
    goals against 0
    points 6

I thinks it is quite obvious what I must do - See you May lads

Nothing to do with Basils goal and Mulumbu's titanic efforts then?

That's the difference between being there and watching ****ing Sky!
A friend texted me to say she hadn't heard the fans make that much noise before. She was watching on Sky!
Another friend messaged me from TSA saying she could hear the crowd from inside her house!?!?

Oh well, they must turn the crowd volume up and the players voices down on all the other games. I think your friend must have had the volume turned up or was watching another match:emoticon-0100-smile- glad you enjoyed the game though

MFW seem to agree with ILD - "Two home wins on the spin and, roared on by a lively Barclay, City deliver a timely and gritty good’un".

    This made me :)
"Finally it would be remiss not to mention again the role of the Barclay in last night’s proceedings, particularly after half-time. The noise was incessant and quite possibly the trigger for a very decent second-half performance. On a few occasions the River End joined in"

I think that's unfair, ALL the ground got the fever. I sit in the N&P and I've lost my voice this morning! (That may be a relief to a lot of people)!

I'd agree with that and I've never heard so much noise in the N&P since we beat 1p5wich in the playoff semi-final - even the people around me were joining in the cheering and applause!!!!! <laugh>

I watched the Sky coverage and the crowd came through really well, but then I have Altech speakers connected to the TV as LCD speakers are very weak and tinny. I think I even heard ILD croaking towards the end! I fail to understand how HotRC was bored by that.

Got 2 and had em turned all the way up, with the tv turned all the way up, hooked up to funktion- one speakers and it still sounded ****e. Maybe there was a little crowd noise in the second half but noise from the Riverend- never has such a thing occurred. It's called an auditory hallucination
