Last years Prem champs. Just drew Sevilla in last 16 of the CL. Surely not, they cant can they? Gan on Leicester. Poor old Arsenal got Bayern and City got Monaco.
Seems to have taken its toll on their league fixtures. Must admit I enjoyed seeing the gang at the top taken down a peg or two. As you say, gan on Leicester.
Monaco are capable of doing City mate, make no mistake. Falcao is on fire again, I think he's on something like 10 in 6 games in the league. Sevilla should beat the Leicester of 16/17 that we've seen so far, but after last weekend, who knows? If the ties were all played this week, I'd certainly fancy City to be dumped out of Europe, it's hard to say what'll happen in 3 months.
I fancy Arsenal to knock Bayern out. Bayern don't seem to be playing as well, this season, and look inconsistent. Unless Guardiola can get Man City quickly back on the right tracks, I'd go for Monaco, on current form. I can't see anything other than Sevilla getting past Leicester over two legs.
I'd agree with that mate, unless Arsenal do their usual Feb/March implosion... if they keep up their current form of being resilient and being able to fight back, they have a real chance, although I still expect Bayern to progress, they seem to have clicked under Ancelotti lately.
Is that the game where they "tackled" too much according to Pep? Don't train tackling.... What's the point!!!
Guardiola was naive and arrogant against Leicester. His high line is the ONE thing that Leicester have it in their locker to exploit. They're an average team and as long as Sevilla do their scouting properly they should get past Leicester no problem.
You know, after last season, wouldn't it just be typical to see Leics the last team standing in the CL from the 4 English clubs.
