Should have been between Mahrez and Auba. If Auba had done what he's done in England he'd have won it hands down.
I wouldn't be a smart-arse about it, you're only 4 points above the relegation zone and Mahrez has 2 goals and 3 assists this season; hardly pulling up trees. He's good but Mane's better. He won because he had a good season and won the league. Mahrez did better than Hazard last season, definitely, but Hazard is better overall than Mahrez as well.
Isn't there some historic thing where football was seen as the working class sport in South Africa and so the black people played it while the white people there played cricket and rugby union which was seen as more prestigious? That split still seems to exist now for whatever reason.
