And none currently bigger than 5/2 (with 2 odds-on). I’d probably veer on the side on conservatism and say he’ll have 3 but that may look silly at the end of the day as only a fool underestimates Mr Henderson.

Those bookie chappies would certainly be in for a caning if a 5 timer is achieved as I’m sure there are thousands of accumulators doing the rounds on his runners today.

Moon Racers only ran twice over hurdles so wouldn't be eligible for a handicap, unless I'm mistaken?

Is perched on 141. I’m sure ‘Daddy’ Martin has had many a sly grin at this figure since it was published…

Ah ok, I incorrectly thought they needed to run 3 times regardless of placing <ok>

(Proof again that every forum needs a briefcase on board ;) )

Any horse finishing in the first three get a handicap mark. That is why you often see winners of one going handicapping as they are no longer maidens and are penalised in novices.

Not going great for old Saint Nick so far today. With one runner left he's 1/4.

Jim Best given 6 months after. Wonder will he bother returning at all. A straighter bat you will not find.
