No he doesn't. He misses far more than he scores, he can't pass for toffee so his link up play is virtually non-existent, and he keeps giving the ball away. Look at his pass completions in this game alone, it's piss poor. Neither Rooney, Martial or Rashford have played as the no 9 this season. So it's an unfair comparison. I'd like at least one of them to be given a run of games because imo, they would do better than Ibrah.
I've said the same about him tbh He had one good game when him, Rooney and Mkhitaryan played together. Personally, I'd play Rooney on the left with Mata centre and Mkhytarian on the right. Could play that as a 4-3-3 with Pogba, Carrick and Herrera behind OR in a 4-2-3-1 with Rashford up front.
Some upbeat news on Micki's injury from the club website - “It looks like the next match [at Crystal Palace] is a 'no', but it looks like it is nothing that is really dangerous or that needs surgery," the manager told Stewart Gardner. "So hopefully we will probably have Micki on Boxing Day [against Sunderland at Old Trafford].” The early assessment would also mean Mkhitaryan missing next Saturday's trip to West Brom.
True. My personal midfield three would be Pogba, Herrera and Mata but Carrick never, ever let's us down. Mata likely to be back in as Mkhitaryan will miss a game or two for sure. I would also concur with Trebs in that Zlatan could do with stepping aside for Rooney at centre forward on Wednesday. Not that I agree he's the reason we hardly score, I just think we need to freshen it up for a match. Rooney should play when he's in form, either up front or off the left instead of Martial.
You would think so, unfortunately the Spuds play Hull, Burnley, Southampton and Watford over the same period.
is Ibra the new shipping boy not Roon now? Not that easy to buy success, although apparently it was when Chelsea were doing it!!
