I might agree with this more if the people making these charges hadn't been calling for just this approach in the line-up. The attitude of 'Pritchard has to play and we don't need a holding midfielder - it's only Barnsley, or we'll attack them off the pitch' were the sort of comments made again and again, but when we go with that, suddenly it's all AN's fault. Some of you should go back and look at what you said before making these allegations.

    Those were his own words!
With subtitles just to ram the point home!
I struggle to see why you still try and defend him.
We've just lost seven (7) of our last 8 matches <yikes>

What exactly would you have done differently, Cromer? I suggest you look back at what you said before the match before you answer. The next two home matches are now critical and sacking AN would hardly improve our chances in those. If we are not in the top six places at the end of the week (we're only 1 point off that now), then things could look different, but being managerless over the Christmas period could also be the end of our season altogether. There is a lot at stake and it may come to that, but I think our chances are better if it doesn't.

AN is the same manager now as he was after last weeks win and that's not go enough for a championship team looking for promotion.

Unfortunately our board failed to act about 10 weeks ago when a change of manager may have given us a chance for promotion.

The board has decided to put loyalty to AN before the good of the club and I fully expect us to start next season in the championship (if we're lucky)

Certainly not had Bassong involved. His error basically gifted them the opening and decisive goal (they've seen the corporate heads drop as soon as we go behind)
Plus if Olsson is fit, he'd start every time for me, with Brady ahead of him in his best position, imo.
Can't legislate for how poor Howson was today compared to last week, but he still can't be 100% match fit?
But to lose 7 from 8 - and still people in the media waffle on about reigniting our "promotion push"!? <yikes> <doh>
"Relegation slide" would be more appropriate.

I have to say, leaving aside the general discussion on overall performance, this sort of demented "he's picked the wrong 11 again' that gets more and more like a pack of squealing schoolgirls every week is becoming a bit tiresome.
If anyone is really clued up enough on how the next opponents are going to set up, then great, give us all that insight and then name your starting 11.
And if the manager picks a different 11, and we win, then offer your resignation in the morning.

Sorry RER that's a load of bollocks! HE chose to go with that team, not anyone on this forum. HE alone sees the team train and selects the team on that basis. HE chooses the game plan, and tells the players what is expected of them! Last weeks result looks like a fluke now as this performance was the Norwich of the last 6/7 games and that's his fault not anyone else's!!

I don't think it matters who he picks, or who the opposition are...he's plainly out of his depth. If you're so fkcuing clever YOU tell us who you would pick, and how Villa are going to set up on Tuesday, then may be we can judge you, perhaps you're a squealing schoolgirl?

Shame about the pathetic name calling. I mean, '**** off you ****'? Is this what we're reduced to? No wonder traffic is down on this site.

My take on our situation, despite the frequent apologists, is that we are in free-fall. Saying we had more shots and possession today in the second half is all very well, but the game was lost by then.

Only one point outside the play-offs? Well, yes, but 26 points from the first 36 followed by 4 points from the next 24 points doesn't fill me with optimism.

I don't know what the answer is. I have no faith in the manager, I never have. He was an unknown and untried cheap option. That was hardly a surprise for Norwich. The players must take an equal share of the blame, some just don't seem interested.

Frankly, I'm as fed up with this team as I am with this site.

Brilliant post gandy and sums up my feelings exactly.
AN really doesn't know how breast starting 11 and he has TOTALLY failed address our calamitous defence - he will insist on playing Bassong, but it's almost guaranteed that in every other game, he'll 'gift' the opposition a goal, as happened today.
Can anyone tell me when we last conceded a goal that was as a result of the opposition's skills, as opposed to an error by one or more of our defenders???

    Right.
I am getting a tad miffed (polite word by the way) at the some posters are resorting to name calling.
As Gandy said, it's bad enough having to be disappointed with our team's results, let alone having to watch posters resort to name calling.

I have deleted a couple of posts on this page tonight, and please heed this warning.
If I have to delete anymore, then I will have no hesitation whatsoever in putting a ban on the person who posted it, if I see fit.
As this will apply to banning one of our own board, even if it is only a 24 hour ban, as the rules stand, then it will be a site ban, which means, you will not be able to go crying on other boards either.
be thankful it is me saying this, because with all the **** that has gone on with this forum that some of you won't know about, then if I passed it on to brb, it would probably end up a considerably longer ban.

This is not an idle threat...it is a promise.

    Please take note folks.

    Thank you.

    Happy posting.

I haven't seen the name calling bit before they had been removed. I did say the other day I'd noticed the language on here had gone up a level, when I thought before it was modified a bit more.

There's no need for abuse of fellow fans. We are all sick of this, and most of us sick of the manager AND players, probably mostly the board. The forum is here for debate. If everyone thought the same, there would be nothing going on here (as appose to the trickle that does go on here). You can debate and have a reasonable argument with people, without getting personal. We are all fans of the same sham of a club. We can't turn on each other like the players seem to be between themselves and the manager. Then the club would have nothing.

I'm pretty sure any manager who lost 7 out of 8 would be under severe pressure from the board, if not dismissed already. Not at #ncfc though.

This is our problem as an under performing outfit. Nobody at the club has the bottle (or genuine desire?) to upset the cosy, cushy status quo and rock the boat.
Immensely disrespectful to the massive fan base, who, despite spending a fortune following and supporting the club, find their views and opinions are merely swept under the carpet every time. :(

Totally agree FML and with the demise in our fortunes, so the number of people posting on here has decreased. I'm sure if the fans had the same attitude as several of the players, then they wouldn't be in a job for long.
Unless there's a massive upturn in our fortunes, I can't see some fans renewing their season tickets, so at least those on the waiting list will be able to get one at lasat.

It's all becoming a tad too predictable and IF we were to get a new manager, we'd at hopefully see a change of tactics maybe even team formation!!!!

    So,
Some people on here think its the:
    BOARDS fault.
Some think it's the MANAGERS fault.
Some think it's the PLAYERS fault.

We haven't had the tea ladies in the equation yet, so I'm beginning to think, maybe it's US, the supporters that are to blame! Can't think of anyone else can you?
