A game tonight that highlighted weaknesses in our team, we should have been beaten by about 4 or 5, but somehow almost got a point.

Bull 8 Not much he did wrong, made some good saves
Foster 7 Usually I don't rate him, but he did well tonight
Winfield 5 Well off his best, lost a lot of headers and wasn't composed on the ball
Johnson 7 Was good, didn't give their attackers much
Basey 9 Good calm head, just what we need in defence
Lewis 6 Was well off his best, but not helped by those around him. Got better towards the end
Harris 6 Tried hard but frustrating night as not much came off for him
Bloomfield 4 A very poor showing, looked like a fish out of water
Grant 4 Absolutely no commitment, couldn't be bothered at all
Beavon 8 As always carried the attack well and finished his goal well
Strevens 6 Tried hard but carried little threat

    Subs
Bignall 6 Looks out of condition but at least tried to create something
Ainsworth 5 Very poor decision to bring him on, added nothing
Ibe 7 Should have been bought on earlier, had a good shot

i must disagree with some of these...matty bloomfield i though played fine tonight, not brilliant by a long stretch but certainly not 4. grant towards the end of his time on the pitch began to click into gear at least...otherwise, agree

Agree with most of the ratings. Grant wasn't as bad as a 4 but Bloomfield was. Don't know what happened to Donnelly and Rowlands but hopefully at least one is back soon. I like Bloomfield and all that he has done for us, but he simply is not league one standard these days.

Harris worked hard but Charlton had done their homework and he had 2 players on him as soon as he got the ball. Strevens put in a shift but lacked any quality in and around the box. Beavon, as always, was our biggest threat by far but the Charlton defence generally coped with him fine.
