It's over!!! I was loyal to these guys over March/April when majority of sport was shutdown and this is how they repay me!
Last few bets completed- Must be highest turnover account I've done on 365 to date. Last account was better % return and much quicker completion time. Slight overlap in dates with the new one
Not good is it! My current one was giving £20 free bets every Wednesday for weeks on end, then they stopped. Then I noticed the odd bet on say Asian Handicap to win was being capped to a max profit of £125. Knew then it was on its last legs.
That's incredible turnover in that timeframe. Do you bet on a range of things? Also what is your average stake? I usually bet to win £100 on odds on shots and then anything evens or above I usually stick £100 stake on.
I only bet on football, in play and the cash out feature is all important. My staking strategy is nonexistent I’m afraid - all over the place My biggest downfall is chasing my losses. For example, about a month ago, when my balance was £7,200, I put £600 on some goalless game injury time on no more goals - lost that. Decided to then put £3,000 on some obscure game @ 1/5 on no more goals (88th minute) to win back the £600 - lost that. So within the space of 5 minutes I’d lost £3,600 So apart from losing my cool at times I’ve done ok. Mainly bet very near the end of games where I can increase my stake by at least 20% in a few minutes - cashing out regularly before the end if my bottle goes
I've done similar in the past mate regarding chasing losses and is still something that can be a problem. My Stan James account from a few years back still brings back nightmares when I look at it. On 3rd August 2015 I was £7,026.96 in profit. By 25th August I was over £4.5k down. Used to do some absolute crazy bets though, accas for silly amounts as per below. Was a good learning experience though, got into a habit of exporting all my banking transactions in/out from gambling to ensure it was worthwhile. Also not saying it's necessarily a correct strategy but only bet on singles now. Stan James used to have terrible odds as well, was only on there because the better sites had restricted my accounts. I spoke about exchange betting on betfair before and I tried to go a bit bigger stakes than I do on Bet365, but found I was struggling holding my nerve when on losing runs so have scaled it back now.
Absolutely only bet on singles and I think we’ve proved that it is possible to beat the bookies - the problem is we beat ourselves sometimes through ill discipline. Anyway we’ve both got a healthy profit over the last six months, and it’s always nice knowing you’re betting with money you’ve won off the bookie
That’s it in a nutshell este. If you consistently win they eventually limit your account so as to make it not worthwhile having the account anymore (effectively banning you without the need to give a reason)
Thanks for the reply, I know a few in the industry I will ask next time I see them. Can you not just start a new account?
