I think possibly what made it more difficult for Valtteri and his wife , is that she is a professional sportswoman herself , swimmer .
I thought the same. However, I also couldn’t fathom what advantage (if any) you could gain about reporting (or lying) about the amount of fuel in your car? Have to say I’m not at all knowledgable about the fuel rules- but you would only ever have as little as possible to get through the race to stay as light as possible I’d imagine?
Seems like the amount of fuel clc left pits with significantly different fuel amount to declared! I wonder if they are using more than allowed? But to be investigated after race! I guess not enough time to investigate and interview people. Surely that is something they could do during the race as driver will have no say. This might be another race where 3 on podium are not the actual top 3!
Horner saying it's a technical infringement so disqualification! Saying ferrari have declared a significant difference between fuel in car and what they said was there! Seems weird they have to declare fuel amount, can't see why that is a reg these days.
I've come up with an awesome theory. They've made LeClercs car underweight, lied about how much fuel is in it, and told him to tactically knock his front wing off post race and claim that's where the missing weight is.
I believe max flow is restricted, think its 100kg per hour max. And max of 100kg of fuel in tank. Not sure if that is plus the minimum that must remain at end for sampling.
Ferrari really are so hopeless sometimes. Talk about shooting yourselves in the foot. They’re like the Brexit of F1.
From crash.net In a new rule for 2019, teams were required to declare the amount of fuel they were placing in the car at least two hours before the start of the race, with weight checks in place to confirm the numbers given to the FIA. These checks are random in the build-up to the beginning of the race. Clc car checked and reported as discrepancy 48mins before start.
Ferrari just going bad to worse. They can't seem to get anything right. Maybe Lewis and Toto to Ferrari would sort things out?
I know it’s harsh as he’s so young but **** me what an utter waste of a seat at Red Bull Albon is. he might become awesome one day but right now he is blocking a seat in what is just one of 6 possible race winning cars.
I didn't think he was doing too bad. He's only had what 10/11 races in the car and 21 total? He is up against mad max so being compared to one of the fastest. If he doesn't beat max in some quali next year I would agree.
I know what you mean- I am being very harsh but I’m looking at it from a spectacle point of view rather than the long term sensible team principal view lol
