Well now we know were we stand, a draw tomorrow or next week would not make any difference unless Watford drew there last game against Leeds, in my mind Watford will be beat Leeds who have got nothing to play for so now we HAVE got to win one of our last two games, forget all the negativity regarding our recent form lets just think we have two football matches to get one win, all we can do now is get behind the team tomorrow and next Saturday and hope its enough, its a shame it as come down to this because we have been in second for such a long time but we have not been able to get over the line lets just hope the team as the bottle and that bit of luck to finally do it
These games often come down to a defining moment, I just hope the 2nd goal for Watford last night isn't it. I remember Newcastle losing 1-0 to Villa on the last day of our first season at the end of our first season in the top flight, and it was a slightly deflected goal, which was the defining moment that kept us up and them down. Hoping and praying City will have their defining moment today, which will give us the win we need UTT.
Well I can imagine how you are feeling and we were just as worried until we got the point we needed. You have two games and need to win one, Watford now only have one game which they cannot lose. We certainly do not want to be in a position where our final game decides who else gets auto so hopefully as you have that right now you will win it today. jck
If we beat Cardiff next week, we'll have all the whinges from Watford and some in the media who seem to believe that London and close to London teams have a divine right to be in the top division rather than a team from the northern east coast about how "Cardiff didn't try hard enough", "it was fixed before hand", "SAF influenced the result due to which manager he would prefer in the PL" etc etc (yes I may be being paranoid). So ideally we get the 3 points, and please no whinges even if the goal was scored by a route 1 punt up the field by Stockdale, so that next weekend the KC stadium can be full of happy little bunnies from both sets of fans - all enjoying promotion
