Most international Rugby fans aren't really "supporters".

I've just been watching Irelands laughable performance against the USA there this morning on the Tv.

One thing struck me. The Irish Rugby team were putting in a very embarrasing performance against a USA side consisting of 11 amateurs and only 4 professionals and everytime the cameras zoomed in on the crowd all the Irish fans were jumping around like clowns.!!!

Unbelievable, have they no passion for their side. Do they actually care if Ireland win or lose?? They seem more interested in dressing up in silly green wigs and waving at the camera than actually supporting their side.

Club fan myself (Perpinyà) but I've been to international games too and I have noticed a lot of the so called supporters of said country, native or otherwise tend to behave like occasional fans in comparison to club fans. Granted, I am not a fan of these national teams either but then I never claim to be.
I don't assume this is the case for everyone but good observation.
