Explain your first time entering St James Park.


I remember it was Newcastle v Barcelona... I'm sure! Given saves a pen ? well someone did, but someone saved a pen..

I remember walking up the steps, milburn stand, that song, you know! "You only get what you give"

It made me feel so happy for days,, and i mean days!

 

1987, pompy at home. Didn't really know what it was all about back then like. Went with my uncle but was soon hooked.

14 October 1989 is when I lost my Toon virginity! Remember me fatha took me as I'd been pestering him all season and we were in town to find me a b/day pressie so I had a choice, pressie now or go to the match and pressie next week. Easy choice

Milburn A paddock, cost him £5 and £2.50 for me, happy days!

Stand out memories were the packed Gallowgate corner singing and jumping up and down for most of the game and Micky Quinn skying a penalty.

Mark McGhee scored the goal of the season but I missed it as I was busy watching the corner being mental.
