The Portsmouth News Sports Awards are coming up soon and Portsmouth FC Ladies have been nominated in several categories:

Manager Perry Northeast has been nominated for coach of the year In the Portsmouth news sports awards. To vote for Perry please text PENSA94 to 65550

Gemma Hillier has been nominated for sports woman of the year. To vote for Gemma text PENSA12 to 65550

Portsmouth FC Ladies has been nominated for club of the year. To vote text PENSA41 to 65550

    Here's why you should vote:

Perry Northeast took over with Katie Poore as manager after Vanessa Raynbird stepped down and has guided Pompey to their best ever FA Cup Campaign, including a giant killing over WSL2 side Durham and to holding out against WSL1 side Notts County for 70 minutes in the quarters, a team full of internationals. This season, Katie Poore stepped down to leave Perry as lone manager, and Pompey have been in pretty good form, they're 4th in the league atm, but with several games in hand and only 3 points from the top.

Gemma Hillier has been with the club for over 10 years and has risen through the ranks to become captain of the first team. An ever present in the team, Gemma's goalscoring record is pretty good, but her leadership qualities are what makes her stand out, leading from the front and representing the city with pride

    The club... well, it's Pompey

Found out the cost.... It's 50p plus your standard rate. Not too pricey. Also, don't forget to get your friends and family to vote too.
