Used to go in there regularly back in the 80s. You could smoke dope quite openly. It's was full of wrong uns really, but in a good way, always buzzing but never any trouble. All those pubs up Stokey High Street were rocking back then. The Three Crowns and The Jolly Butchers had live music at the weekends, and The Cricketers up by the one way system was always good for a lock-in. Some of the best days of my youth spent living in Stokey.
