That i didnt post after last nights (sorry yesterdays) game....This was due to a "purposely self imposed" computer ban so i couldn't get myself into more trouble ..as previously....I stayed in the pub until 3:40 am watching Liverpool i think...honestly couldnt tell you the score of the game i was watching as i was pretty numb... Now first off, let me say....I am totally devastated, I knew we were bad just tried to kid myself we were not that bad... For the whole i think we ran the game, but Bolton looked so much more confident and comfortable with the ball. we looked nervous and even though we had more possesion (i think?) we looked to have no idea of what we were trying to do.... Clint Hill....A man that does get a lot of bad press....He is the ONLY player that has worked his nuts off to get his position ...and he F-ing deserves it...If his goal had stood he would prob have got man of the match... Joey..although i have never been a fan..put a shift in effort wise...just such a shame he's not as good as he thinks he is... Cisse...delivered what he said he would...talks the talk AND also walks the walk.......god we are so lucky to have this guy in our team.. Zamo did ok and linked up play well..i was never a fan until i stopped and watched what he actually does.....does well INHO In reality, we have 11 good players, but that is it....we dont have a team, just 11 players...A good team is greater than the sum of its parts..and that is down to the leader.. "Who?" i ask you cry. Well, truth is, we really dont have one..not in the players, management staff or owners. We are one of those clubs / bussinesses that needs someone to take us by the scruff of the neck and shake us a bit. We've all been there, working for bosses with no plan or direction. it leads to lethargy, complacency and a general lack of intrest....exactly what we have with our team. I personaly dont know if Mark h is the answer or if we should have kept faith in NW..a man who said that he would get us promoted (and he did), said he could Tarrabt playing well (and he did) and, said he could keep us up...we'll never know........ All i do know, is that i am hurting...big time.and there is nothing i can do about it....Also feel really bad for those of you who actually go and watch the games, only to be let down..... All i asked for was 17th this year and 17th next year then a move on..i guess even i over estimated how good/bad we are... Please dont reply with we were unlucky blah blah blah..... Right..I'm off to top myself or do a Kilo of Coke..... Have a nice day all...and ...Keep the faith brothers...(and sisters)
at lest we will have a great team for next season . no one will want to buy any of our players as they have been so bad this season
I know that Barton runs around a lot and I sort of believe that he wants to play good football. But he had a big part in one of the Bolton goals yesterday and Taiwo seems to have gotten the blame for it. Barton gave up chasing the play and let him run in the box when he could have marked him in the first place and gotten in front of him. I also feel he isn't such a good influence and, like you say, is not a good leader. Players I think could be a better captain: Hill Onuoha Derry Zamora Ferdinand even SWP and Taarabt!!
Barton should have tracked his man, but WTF is Taiwo doing trying to chest the ball down just outside the 18 yard box in the 81st minute of a relegation dogfight? just get rid of it son!
