Well... just seen he has grassed up Chelsea fans to the club claiming anti semitic chanting was used against him. I was there at Anfield and there were no anti semitic chants at all! We were booing because Rafa was taking off our best player and putting someone on the pitch who has constantly criticised the club... especially when he was out on loan at Arsenal.

Thank **** Benayoun's contract is up at the end of the season. I never want to see him in a Chelsea shirt again the whiney little ****er.

Everybody is so hyped up on racism these days things are getting paranoid. Thanks for the insight BB.

I was pretty miffed (to put it mildly) when he came on just when we needed to stay strong as well.

I was just looking up info on Benayoun as he hadn't played for a long time until recently, so I thought perhaps he was a previous favourite at Liverpool with Benitez as I didn't know their history. Bit surprised to find this

Guy is a grade A ****. Never forgave him after celebrating Arsenal's win against us when we were paying his wages.

I don't think he has lied, more a mix up. He was booed, nothing more, and it wasn't anything to do with his comments re Torres more to do with what DL said.

The reports seem to be very vague and he is not explaining himself very well, if he is sure then make a proper complaint to the club.

Angel -you've hit the nail squarely on the head! Its quite ridiculous how the screams of racism seem to encroach any matter where someone of a non white anglo saxon make up is offended in a sporting engagement! It all seems to have evolved from the Terry/Ferdinand confrontation and is making a mockery of the true standing of mixed race realations!

What would be interesting is if our old mate Clattenberg abuses Yossi !!!!!! Wonder if the FA would consider that racist ????

How can you guys keep doing this?

Terry gets accused of racism, you all round on Anton who had done nothing wrong and it ends up that you were wrong, even the judge says that Terry's version of events don't make much sense.

Clattenburg gets accused of racism, you guys fly off the handle and when it's proven he didn't say anything of the sort, there's no criticism for the idiots that reported it bringing your club into yet another farce.

Now you're pouring your bile on to Benayoun for "grassing" and reporting to the club that he was the subject of anti-semitic abuse. Obviously he must be lying, as despite no one knowing anything about the incident and what was said, Bucks knows it never happened as he was there and didn't here any racist chanting(Benayoun never said it was chanting) and even if there were somethings said/chanted at Benayoun the rest of you all believe it must be some PC nonsense, Benayoun being too sensitive, etc.

****ing Hell, let alone your club you're embarrassing football in general. Perhaps it would be better to stay quiet and wait until there's more information than jumping to conclusions on a racism issue based on the team you support rather than the facts, eh? Somethings should not involve your football club bias believe it or not and racism, anti-semitism, homophobia, etc should be taken a bit more seriously than you lot are taking it.

YV, the facts are that he was booed. That's the extent of it and he's obviously mistook the booing for anti-antisemitism for some bizarre reason. It's actually questionable whether it was him that was booed, Bucks has said (a man who was in the stands, not the ****ing touchline) that the fans were booing Rafa's queer substitution. If Benayoun was booed it was because he openly congratulated Arsenal whilst Chelsea were paying his wages last season for finishing above them.

I also resent your second comment. Load of bollocks. If one of your lot (or any other football fan for that matter) reported the ref for supposed racial abuse, you'd be all over him. It was also at a sensitive time where Prattenburg had completely screwed us over with a shocking refereeing display, so you're bound to have a reaction like what happened.

One other thing, Yossi hasn't even said it was racial abuse. He said 'crossed the line'. It just shows how those scummy rags can print anything and have the general population believe it.

Nope I can't see why you would be accused of that at all.
I've been accused of racism once by a very good friend of mine, it threw me completely. We were talking about me 'getting back out there, and my type of fella' I said well I wouldn't go out with a Pakistani and he immediately said that's racist, nope it was because of their faith, and I could never live with that. I'm not religious at all. But it just goes to show how even those close to us can jump to conclusions.
I have strange views on racism and most people don't get them so I tend to keep very quiet on this subject as I would never want to offend anyone for any reason.

Your friend was right. Pakistani's don't have their own religion. If you said you couldn't go out with a Muslim, that I'd understand - on a cultural level - but using the word Pakistani in this context was (probably unintentionally) racist.

There are very few facts at the moment, Bucks has already said he sees it as "grassing" so why would you believe it when someone with that mentality tells you there was no chanting? He wouldn't "grass" on Chelsea fans even if there was. As I've already said it's not clear what Benayoun heard so you can't pass any judgement on it. What the booing is about is neither here nor there, Benayoun himself mentions the booing and says it doesn't bother him so why would you think he thought it was the booing that was anti-semitic?

Again you show your inability to take football out of it, there is no "my lot" but I'm sure there would be plenty that jumped to conclusions from "my lot", yes. I'm not here to score points I'm just frustrated to see that you guys are making the same mistake for a 3rd time it's clearly misinformed as I showed you and villainising someone based on who you support despite there not being even close to enough information in the public to support an argument eitherway.

Yep, I agree with you and calling it 'grassing' is wrong. I'm not saying Benayoun has done anything wrong, just that he hasn't actually used the word 'racism'. I just think he's mixing booing up with racism which is very incorrect. I didn't think it was anti-semitic, the papers clearly do though despite him not saying it which is slanderous in my opinion. It was also broadcast over Sky.

What's the difference then in you saying 'you guys' and me saying 'you lot'? I said 'you lot' because you happen to be a Spurs fan I'm discussing this with.

To be honest, I read the Sky Sports article on it yesterday. By the time I'd read all this, this morning, I assumed he was accusing the fans of anti-semitism. You might not like the innuendo from the press but there's just as much on here.
