On entering the ground you saw two new shiney new 61 plate team busses sponsored by Valley Gold, these have replaced the rather old and shoddy looking yoof team busses of the last few seasons. A goal up after 2 minutes (I thought it was 3 minutes but it may have been 2) the team seemed to think that Cambridge were there for the taking and overplayed a bit, this allowed Cambridge to come back into the game with a committed (NOT DIRTY!) performance in the first half right up to when Olly Muldoon scored the second which seemed to take all the wind out of Cambridge's sails. If I were giving a MoM I would give it to Cambridge's No. 8, he never lost the ball in centre of midfield was playing simple passes always to Cambridge players and seemed to have time. I know that sounds a bit strange but he was the only Cambridge player who looked on a par with our boys and never dropped his head when the team around him were falling apart in the second half. Right, the goal of the night, our 4th or 5th? A direct pass came out (@30 yards?) of defence by Semi I think it was, cross pitch to Harriott who controlled it first time on the left side of midfield about 5 yards into the Cambridge half, Cal then pinged a 20 yard pass to Azeez who was about 2 yards out from the right hand side of the Cambridge 'D' Ade controlled it first time then half volleyed the ball over the goalkeeper into the left hand corner of the net. WONDER GOAL! Bad news was that there were loads of scouts there who must of been impressed with all of our players. If we can keep these boys then times may be good AllHell

When the Chairman said he was getting a new youth team coach, I didn't think this was what he meant! It is crucial that we get out of L1; for a young player the prospect of Championship football is appealing and worth sticking around for, whereas L1 is a harder sell. We also need to give more of the youth players a chance, though it's hard for them to break into a winning team, as otherwise the likes of Palace could prove more attractive, as they tend to fast track youngsters into the 1st team faster than us.
I agree. Players like Harriot should make the squad every now and again. He looks very good every time I watch him.
The ridiculous 5 subs rule doesn't help, with 7 subs you could guarantee at least one youngster on the bench
question do u think azees and harriott are ready for first team yet harriott it seems is playing out of his skin at moment scored several goals i think cp should give him a run out?
ive heard burnley and leeds sniffing around waggy dont know if this is just rumours though-anyway lovely game tom millwall vs cardiff and guess what palarse playing as well so dont go near london bridge around lunchtime could kick off i reckon
Drew 2-2 with Ammers, good game with two footballing sides. West Ham did moan a lot about the ref? every five fecking minutes something to moan about! I thought Tony Carr was going to be sent off at one point, not a good thing to be teaching youngsters. Poyet was OK but I thought Olly Muldoon next to him had a better game.
