This time good news for the state of the pitch, even if it means missing out on a Rugby International:

It's a bit late for us, couldn't we just have cut this pitch out and layer fresh turf in in this week off to make it last the season??

 

They did the same thing last June, ripped it up and totally re seededthe pitch http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2379617,00.html on the OWS. It was ready for the Liverpool friendly. Hope it lasts longer this time

 

Move the rugby and get it done between may 6th and july 1st. FC can play from HKR's ground during that period.

 

Don't be so stupid.

There are 2 teams at the KC, not just 1, and it should be one of the bigger gates for rugby all season, so there is no way it will be moved to a ground that can't even accommodate all of FCs passholders.

 

Like already mentioned, they do this nearly every year so it's another non story from the fail

 

Dont be so stupid. I used HKR as an example. The KC needs re-grassing and fast. The rugby will have to take a back seat. That is the best period to do it as there is ONLY ONE match sceduled for the KC in that time frame. You need to think a little first. For all i care FC can play on the M62.

 

As far as I understand it, the decision to relay the pitch at that time was made after the RL had said they were not playing a game in Hull for logistical reasons.
