Anyone following this comical story? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27484318 Wow this ****er really does have one MASSIVE ego, must think he's god or something.
it has a nice video of him getting a cake whilst on board the plane. perhaps he thought they were going to give him the plane ! wtf is he like at xmas for christ sakes. he says he wants respect and then acts like a complete ****. he is a multi millionaire and he acts like this, try living in the real world with real problems. mind you if he wants to join us i will edit this post and say what a great signing he is lol
Probably just trying to engineer a move for money, or get a contract worth more money, without telling people he wants more money.
Agreed, great player, but we won't pay anyone the wages he commands and neither should we, with FFP allegedly kicking in those sort of wages can destroy clubs, just don't want it to be ours...
TBH I don't want this guy at Arsenal, we have Ramsey to play his role, and I prefer Ramsey. Plus the guy has a massive ego, there's no way he could fit in at Arsenal, we don't play that game.
On a serious note, how ****ed up would it be if we had a player throwing a tantrum because Kroenke didn't say happy birthday! What in the HELL.
His agent sounds like a knob as well, pamper to my player or we are moving let the dumb ****er move he is 31, only go a couple more good years in him.
I reckon there's more to it than just a birthday snub. I have worked with various corporate Arabs and (much as I hate generalising groups of people) they are the most obnoxious and arrogant people you could ever meet, they really do believe their wealth makes them above everyone else. Wasn't there talk of him being unhappy a year back ? He knows he could walk into most clubs and probably wants more respect, there's probably been a fall out behind the scenes....
He done exactly the same at Barcelona and other clubs he had been with just do a quick search seems to follow him all over. PS. Muslims do not celebrate birthdays. They argue that birthdays should not be celebrated or neither should people be happy about the day because on a birthday, someone's life has decreased by one year. According to them only an increase is worth celebration.
This is absolute bullshit. Ive spent time in the Middle East and North Africa and pretty much all the Muslims I've met do celebrate birthdays just as we do in the West. (also my wife's family are Muslim and they all celebrate.) The other thing is Yaya actually Muslim? He's from the Ivory Coast which is a predominantly Christian Country.
Yaya Toure is definitely a muslim.I don't know the exact % religious breakdown but there is a sizable Muslim population.
It might be wrong got if from Ask.com maybe I should of looked around a bit if I've offended anyone I do apologise though. http://www.ask.com/question/how-do-muslims-celebrate-birthdays
I reckon we should make a bid for him this summer: A nice big cake, a couple of handshakes from Kronke and Gazidis and a three year supply of vouchers for Sara Lee
