INTER Milan have been monitoring former Bristol City winger Yannick Bolasie.
Now earning rave reviews playing for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, the Londoner could be set for a big-money move in January.
City are believed to have negotiated a 20 per cent sell-on clause when Bolasie left Ashton Gate to move to Selhurst Park three seasons ago and officials at Ashton Gate are watching developments with interest.
While reports of a £20 million bid being tabled appear to be wide of the mark, Inter chief Piero Ausilio is interested in the midfielder and City will profit from any transfer.

    Good luck to the lad!

He was a funny signing and pretty much summed up our club.. we spotted the potential in him to bring him here than we rarely played him as he was so obviously a very raw talent, when he did play he was visibly exciting to watch but scarily unstable and a red card waiting to happen.... off he goes to Palace and lights up the premier league??

Why was it we were incapable of converting this talent to decent match performances.. it is key to me to discovering where we do things wrong..

'we spotted the potential in him' - and Albert.
Think it's the only thing we can thank Coppell for.

I thought he was ****ing ****e for us, had a bit of flair and a few good games but would have never of said watching him that in a few years Intervwould be pondering a 20m bid. Having said that I hope they do, sell on clause for us is much needed.

Could we gain enough, or any, money from a sell-on clause if we had one?

As an after thought now we are upon the transfer window and the Yannick Bolasie transfer could go down soon, could you tell me your best squad using only the players that have left us for whatever reason over the last 10 years. Try and fill a complete team sheet.

<laugh><laugh> Let's say he was a raw talent!
For once we have a sell on clause (no wonder they were keen to get us to bid for Gayle)

it is to easy today for players to be manipulated and manipulating via their agents. and play according to plan
it is key to me to discovering where we do things wrong..
It is a bit like divorce!
within a few weeks/month or so you can get divorced, when it took a year or so and to be well sorted, it didn't happen as much, as the time spent apart/ or having to live through a crisis often healed the wounds! and the relationship developed!
Same with players, need to find the right "spot" / "function" in a team.. Bolasie had skills and wasn't really c**p but just needed the right manager / coaching at the right time.
One of SC's downfalls is he has tunnel vision... 3-5-2 ! which makes certain players look second class ... I reckon if we sold Freeman, Agard, and Williams to championship team / 's not playing 3 - 5 -2 they would double or more in value in half a season!

Why are we so inept at developing players?

Yannick didn't get games, this is why he left. Didn't he score the winner against Coventry the season we stayed up and get dropped for the next game..?

He reminded of Essen in power terms, he was absolutely bull like on the ball and his determination and desire was what kept him on the edge of being sent off. That has obviously been refined a bit and the person most likely to dispossess him was himself. I thought he would have been a powerful asset to us, had he been used...

He submitted a transfer request because he wanted to get back to the bright lights of London. He was brought up in Lewisham

Can't see Inter (or anyone) paying £20 million for him, but that said prices are crazy in January. His real value is probably around £12-14 Million, but with an alleged 20% to pay us, Palarse will push for the highest price possible.

Here's hoping we get a very welcome New Years financial boost.
