I have to disagree there Proud - I always maintained that technically he was the best forward at our club during his short time with us and still believe that Nigel missed a rick in the first-leg play off against Cardiff by preferring Waggy as a lone striker ... I am now kicking myself that I didn't stick a tenner on him for first goalscorer because I thought about doing it all day yesteday but 'resisted' for patriotic reasons.. was the just about the most predictable thing ever! .. would have at least sweetened the disappoinment
It's worth mentioning too that Michael Morrison also had a very good game, and was probably the best of their 9 defenders...
