Maybe it is time for Xisco to show if all the hype about him in the past was justified. I know he is on loan, but next season could be his time to shine. Everyone said Best was **** but now he has turned out to be good. Perhaps Xisco could do the same. I know his wages are probably huge, but if he can show what a good player he is they will be justified. Thoughts?
No. He's on too much wages, and i'm pretty sure we have to pay him per game? Get rid of him. It'll be a massive lift on our wage bill.
Xisco is a bit of a funny one, he was never really given a chance for a sustained period. Would have been nice to see what he could do... But, having said that, I don't think we will see him again in a toon shirt....

The problem with this is the gamble it would be to pay him ã50k per week until jan transfer window if he comes back and we give me a run in the team. Although we haven't seen a huge amount from him, I don't think it's worth the punt. Prefer to sell him on and get someone else in..
Was it ever proved that the reason he wasn't starting/playing was because of a clause in his contract about appearances and extra money going to the selling club?
no manager in the last 3years have rated him anywere near the starting 11 would be ludacrous to suggest giving Xisco games
Its been all dragged out far too long now, we must look to move him on ASAP, along with Lovenkrands, Smith and Perch.

i was chatting about him with a friend of mine yesterday, i think with referance to what tash has said, is that hes on ã50,000 per week, but the apperance fee that he has is something stupid (10-20k), which, if going on with the clubs previous track record of big wages and stupid bonuses, then it wouldnt surpise me

His character is questionable as well as his ability. Let him go to a Spanish club, even if we only get ã2m or something for him, both NUFC and Xisco NEED to part company.
I don't think it's in question that he will leave in the summer one way or another. Pardew was quoted as saying they'll do what they can to move him on, saying it just hasnt worked for him here. If we cant sell him in summer, he might go on loan but if no one even wants him on loan I wouldnt be surprised to see his contract terminated, I mean we cant keep paying 40k a week for a reserve player. Funny to think he was playing with Bojan for the Spain U21s not long ago, now he's a Newcastle reserve and Bojan's on the Barca bench.
