that is a total rip off.... 28 per week is it? thats too much. MY one does the karate and is blue belt now and paid far less.... its a decent thing for confidence as if you can convince the lad to get in a competition and kick the head off someone lese it stands to them a bit. but make sure he does his forms and forgets the sparring thats only for fun. the forms is where the progression comes from.
The 'pcm' would be a clue Its a decent Karate club though and its run by a former Olympian too. Plus a few of his friends go there so he knows people too (he's very shy so this is a good thing for encouragement). When you sign up you have to provide school details too, if they're not performing at school then they're not allowed to attend Karate. * per calendar month (say about £7 per half hour session)
