oh dear. just seen the stats and it wasent good. 3 shots on target to bournemouths 16? i think we were lucky we werent battered! ahead of huddersfield, i think: - get harris back in to the team, couldent understand why he was dropped in the first place - get basey at left back, much better than foster in that position - ffs, sign another centre back. unless someone at the game tells me differently, im just going to assume tunnicliffe was poor, because he always seems to be waddock certainly needs to find another cm from somewhere as well, i have no issue with blooms and lewis but we need more cover than halls. hoping this was just an off-day and we can bounce back against hudds, or someone at the game can tell me it was totally different. we have stuttered on form and we need to get back on the wagon soon so we dont totally lose momentum
I was following Twitter feeds and it sounds like a defensive horror show. Both goals were poor on our part and only Bull kept the score down. This won't do against Jordan Rhodes and co on Friday.
A real shame to turn in such a woeful performance after a few better games. We only got going for the last 5 mins of the first half and then came out in the second like we started the first half. McCoys positioning was terrible. Should have taken Ainsworth off after 20 mins - off the pace by a mile. Trotta looked Sunday league. The passing of most was laughable. Without Bully and some poor finishing fom the cherries it could and perhaps should have been a hammering. Summed it up towards the end when lads started singing lets pretend we scored a goal. Good turnout from the supportors again though.
the last time i remember "lets pretend we scored a goal" we began to get something out of nothing away to stockport and turned it from 4-0 to 4-3...maybe fans were hoping for something similar!!!
