West ham have accepted a bid of around 2.5 million pound for striker Nicky Maynard from Cardiff city!! Wow what a complete mug he is, if he does go there, you know what wiz ill put him in my zeros list!
Gave us 1 good season from 4 and ended it like he did? Done nothing to be a hero and a bit to become a zero, then to also insult bristol once he moves to spam, left us to get prem footy and is back in the same league 8 months later? What little respect I had left for him has gone
Think positive; 1. We will (hopefully) get a 20% sell on which could be around 200k based on what we think he was sold for; 2. We saved paying his wages since he left in January - not a small amount by any means; 3. We survived without him; 4. We now have Baldock; 5. He has been proved to not be Premiership class. I don't care if he goes to Cardiff.
wham have made it pretty clear he's not wanted there, and if no other club has come in for him, what choice has he got,and no doubt the 10pc will come in handy, pity his poor kid growing up with a bloody cardiff accent tho.
Think we already knew his days were numbered at West Ham when they also got Vaz Te. His Missus is from Bristol so to him it would probably seem like a good move. He left us, we still write about him. As far as I'm concerened I enjoyed his time when he was with us, yes we lost a bit of money on him. Out of the deal we got Baldock, probably on less money per week plus he cost Wham 2.5 million year before. If Nicky signed to stay with us it would of been on higher wages. with sham signing carroll plus a handful of strikers ahead of Nicky it was bound to happen, a championship club was the only option but a shame its those welsh ****s.
Well in some ways im glad he's back at this level, as he poked his head over the garden fence thought it was greener, hoped over and has now been kicked back, the manner he left us has made him hated, and don't anyone say he isn't as last April proved otherwise. Also bet he's glad Cardiff have already played at AG
Seeing as we may be in agreement on the subject of not commenting on Nicky again I would like to register my last kick at the cat. The reason he is going to Cardiff is simply that nobody else wanted him and he couldn't face coming to AG again, unless it was in a Premiership shirt, and they have played us already this season (lol) (sort of). After the treatment he gave City fans he doesn't deserve even a hint of good blessings from us and I hope him and his agent will be very happy together. Enough said so let's move on.
just a side point from a gashead.... a lot of reds said lambert while in league 2 with southampton wouldnt be good enough for championship football and laughed when we said he would make it in the prem. 1st season in the championship and was player of the season and golden boot winner. then on prem debut he scores vs prem champions man city. these same reds said maynard is better than lambert and would easily make it in the prem. hmmm. on a serious note, i think you were right to get rid when you did as he showed you no loyalty at all after giving him his big break and supported him through injury. justice being served that he didnt make it and is instead joining a team who you stuffed recently and below you in the table!
Shiny you're right, 1 good season in 4. Theres a simple reason why West Ham don't want him. its because he's not that good!
Did some work at Ashton Gate and along with others moved out of the way to let Maynard pass, 100% he saw us, never said thank you or even acknowledged our existance. Can't even get annoyed by people like that as there as so many in football. A very rich classless prick.
