I understand everyone shouting Bates out but surely the 11 on the field can do a lot ****ing better than Saturday!!!!

    Absolute joke!

Lonergan- Awful for the goal but didn't have much else to do
White - worst game in a Leeds shirt maybe contract situations haven't helped
Kissa - did the best he could but lets be honest hes gonna need replacing (n not by ****ing Odea)
Lees - Worst game at CB for us
Connolly-did okay can't grumble about him
Snoddy - kept quiet by Reading because we have no1 on the other side who needs marking
Brown - best game in a Leeds shirt got stuck in n tried running it not his fault he had no options
Clayton - poor and looked unfit
    Pugh - did he play?
McCormack - Lively but had no balls knocked down by Becchio
Becchio - Unfit, Awful, didn't win the ball once, touched it max 3 times needs to be benched and replaced in January!

Grayson - No Idea what to do but bringing Ross off was not the thing to do!!

    I ****ing Hate Leeds :(

    Merry Bastard Xmas

Listened to it on LUTV and we seem to lack heart mate.
We do not seem to be creative, have no understanding,
    Why was McCormack taken off?
I know this is the time of year when players like to be injured so they can be with there famalies, but there does not seem to be any spirit in the team, even Eddie (ya knaw) Gray said there seems to be no enthusiasm in the team????

I seriously think the speculation over Becchio and the contract situations with white played a part! Both looked disinterested

We where **** but so where Reading which made it the hardest game of football ive watched since Sheffield United Last year!

We have put in too many diabolical lacklustre performances this season and somehow we are still in the play off places I don't get it! the rest of the league are just as ****!!!

We have lost 4 games at home before xmas that unheard of but the fact of the matter is we shouldve lost a lot more than that

Kissa, i listen to every match, even mid week (and we are 3hrs in front here) Elland Rd seems quiet and not much atmosphere, but when we are away....wow, you can only hear the faithful whites ??? could this be a factor, or are we clutching at straws.

The atmosphere is about as good as the football, if we get something to cheer about then we do cheer!

Should be the other way round though. Sing for the players and they will play. That's how it works away from home, and look how well we do then.

When it's a performance like this and it's not just one or two glaring errors but a whole team ****-up that's caused the defeat; everyone looking passionless and devoid of fight because Reading were too well regimented, it suggests something's gone wrong at managerial level.

My view is that Grayson shouldn't have played 4-4-2. The thin midfield gets cut through like butter by teams with any idea of how to play football and it doesn't give Becchio the licence to play. I still have great faith in SG as the way forward, but I think he should be providing the motivation when our lazy fans won't. To be fair, that's also what a proper club captain should be doing, but with no funds from Bates, we can't afford one. It's games like Saturday where you need leadership and experience - my favourite phrase - and it was sorely lacking. Mainly, if Bates had given us the right budget, we'd be right up there with the best.

We could have got McKenna from Hull instead of Brown. Gunnarsson or Cork instead of Pugh. A proper winger to replace Gradel. Don't tell me Grayson wouldn't have signed those players; any right-minded manager would. And let's not forget he also gets major input from Bates and Gwyn Williams in terms of transfers. Nunez, Forssell and Vayrynen were almost certainly Williams/Bates signings. So the responsibility for our relatively unintelligent and leaderless team should fall with Bates, but Grayson doesn't help himself with some of his tactical choices. And yeah, it's time we axed the backroom boys. There's no way they're training this team competently.

....no way they're training this team competently... We're still 6th in the league guys. Its not all doom & gloom. Views of the goal range from cock up to nothing Lonergan could do. With the way other results went, we couldn't have been anything other than 6th. But Reading didn't help our cause by parking a bus in front of their goal. Not sure why Nunez wasn't on the bench to add a bit of sparkle as anything else.

Let's hope for a more encouraging performance when we play Derby next week. Let's also hope that apart from Pugh & possibly Alex, we get a bit more creativity from a signing or two in the January TW. Keep the faith boys & girls. MOT

What got me the most was the lack of urgency!

The 4 minutes stoppage time came over the tannoy and we usually get the ball forward n try n nick a point! but we let them keep the ball in the corners and for the whole of the stoppage time the ball was in our own half!

    They all look disinterested
