    Depends what kind of cancer. If it's a **** one, one you're likely to recover from, I'd go for that, because I don't think there's any cure for dementia. If it's Jade Goody-style cancer, and you're basically ****ed, then I suppose I'd go for dementia in the hope a cure can be invented.

    Another one could be Parkinsons vs HIV, or syphillis vs TB.
