    Scott Dann as another CB? Birmingham were often ridiculously solid at the back until his injury this season, and that Roger Johnson looked a right prick without him which made him stand out all the more. Could be quite cheap?

    Defo take him, whether Brum would sell is another question.

    Would prefer Samba, but Dann is better than Saylor and Willo.

    I'd have him, better than Williamson and maybe then Taylor could do a job at RB instead of Simpson.

    I wouldn't mind Zigic up top, big physical lad pretty similar to AC. They've missed him since the Carling Cup final.

    I agree if we get a Samba/Dann but no new RB then put STaylor out on the right of defence, he's a goal threat and a better defender than Danny

    Possibly. Not sure he'd want to come to be back-up. Better than Guthrie no doubt, but not as good as Nolan, Barton, Tiote etc.

    I'd yes to Dann, yeah definitely. Wouldn't be too much. We need 4 decent CB's, so Colo, Dann, Taylor, Willo would be good enough for me. Would prefer Samba obviously but little chance of getting him.

    Dann is a good player but getting on now. I think we should be looking for somebody younger.

    I think Gardner's decent but we've got loads of centre mids and he's a lifelong Brummie so theres a good chance he might stay

    Samba's stock has risen this season and for the money that blackburn will want for him, i say "**** it"

    I would rather try nicking Phil Jagielka from Everton.. Class CB , English and cost wise, 1 or 2 mill more than Samba

    Ah somebody said 30, guess they meant Zigic. Was suprised that Dann was that old to be honest but I didn't know his age so didn't question.

    Well if Dann is 24 I take it back. He would be a good signing.

    Someone on the Arsenal board yesterday was saying that Samba, Cahill or Jagielka wouldn't improve their defence and that Koscielny was better than all of them <laugh>
