Following on from the worst ever player thread, it would be interesting to see how this one goes..
I will start by nominating Lawrie McMenemy. There was so much expectation when he arrived, but it soon became clear that he was a disaster..

The clear winner, followed by Howard Wilkinson and Steve Cotterill.

May as well stop there, Macca wins it hands down. I was chuffed to bits when we got him and he turned out to be a massive disappointment.

In my experience Howard Wilkinson terrible appointment. Matt Piper done a Q&A on his time at safc and hung him out to dry as the has been fraud he was

Agree that Howard Wilkinson is a top contender. However, unlike McMenemy I knew he would be ****e beforehand.

I'll throw Buxton into the mix. Bit young for McMenemy but me da assured me he's evil.

Took over from Terry Butcher iirc. Come to think of it he wasn`t great either.

    6th McMenemy 30%
    5th Alan Brown 28.8%
    4rd Alan Durban 28.5%
    3nd PDC 23.1%
    2nd Advocaat 21.1%
